Northeastern Peer Tutors, Dina Yacoub, Grace Nyberg, and Srihari Raman presented at the New England Peer Tutor Association (NEPTA) Annual Spring Conference on Saturday February 24, 2024, hosted by Assumption University in Worcester Massachusetts. NEPTA has a rich tradition of been a conference for tutors by tutors, providing a forum for professional growth and development to peer tutors in the region; where they learn from one another, and building community among them. The theme of this year’s NEPTA conference was Camp Tutor: Tutor Stories by the Campfire. Our peer tutor’s interactive presentation was on Kindling Growth: A Campfire Discussion on Fostering Growth Mindsets. We would like to congratulate Dina, Grace, and Srihari for proudly representing both Northeastern University and our Peer Tutoring program.
