There are a number of tips for students to successfully navigate online courses. Here is a list of the most important:
- Prepare and plan for each course ahead of time
- Treat the online course like a “real” course
- Hold yourself accountable
- Practice time/attention management
- Create a regular study space and eliminate distractions
- Actively participate
- Take notes even when you’re online
- Know yourself and adjust accordingly
- Access all appropriate recourses including tutoring when available
