I also make sure to respond promptly, communicate clearly, and represent the program with professionalism and empathy in every session.

How has your experience as a Northeastern Peer Tutor impacted you?

Tutoring has been one of the most rewarding parts of my Northeastern experience. It’s helped me grow not just as a student, but as a mentor and communicator. I’ve learned how to break down complex topics in a way that makes sense to others, and I’ve gained confidence in my own knowledge along the way. It’s incredibly fulfilling to watch students gain clarity and build their own confidence—and knowing I played a small part in that makes it all worth it.
