Northeastern Peer Tutoring has bestowed the Outstanding Service Award for AY2024 to Wanru Shao. This prestigious award is given to a deserving Graduating senior who has served Peer Tutoring and the Northeastern learning community with distinction. Wanru has served as a Peer Tutor for over 3 years, and a peer mentor for other peer tutors for over 1 year. Held numerous tutoring sessions supporting a great number of students in CS courses as well as sharing her native language by been a Chinese language conversation partner. Also,she was the lead presenter to a team of 7 fellow peer tutors at the New England Peer Tutor Association (NEPTA) Annual Conference in 2023 representing Northeastern Peer Tutoring. It has been an honor to have her on the Peer Tutoring team.
