I have represented Northeastern Peer Tutoring on Knack by creating a comfortable, judgement-free, and patient zone for students, to ensure they feel heard and comfortable to share their concerns.
How has your experience as a Northeastern Peer Tutor impacted you?
My experience as a Northeastern Peer Tutor has been extremely enlightening, discovering how different methods work for different students. I have also enjoyed building friendly relationships with students, that sometimes extends outside of our sessions. I have realized that tutoring is equally as rewarding for the tutor as it is for the tutee.
