Northeastern Peer Tutoring is committed to offering FREE peer tutoring to aid Northeastern undergraduate students’ academic success through the support of their Northeastern peers. This academic year 2025, we are refocusing our peer tutoring program to support all eligible 1st year undergraduate students as well as students enrolled in high demand courses across the Northeastern global network. Please refer to the list of supported courses for Fall 2024 here: Fall 2024 Course List

Peer-to-peer tutoring on the Knack platform is an additional resource for students and should be treated as such. Tutors should encourage their tutees to explore all available academic resources across the Northeastern global network. Please review our page on Other Tutoring Services at Northeastern.

Eligible students will have the opportunity to:

  • Schedule one peer-to-peer tutoring session on the Knack platform either as an one-on-one or small group in-person or online , for up to 90 minutes per course per week (Sunday-Saturday)
  • Use up to 30 hours maximum of FREE peer tutoring during each academic semester, and up to 15 hours of peer tutoring during each summer session
