How have you represented PTP? I try to make sure that I can help every student that comes to me with a style that best suits them, while also establishing a personal connection with them. It’s so important for a student to feel comfortable during a tutoring session so that they can ask any questions they have, and I like making sure that students always leave the session feeling better about the subject matter but also just in general having a better day because of it.
How has PTP impacted you? I do really love knowing that I can make a difference in other students’ lives, and it’s made me more confident about many of my own skills and knowledge. Plus, guiding so many students through taking derivatives definitely keeps me on my toes and ensures that I don’t forget how to do that when it comes to the rest of my engineering courses.
Student Testimonial: “That added motivation from a peer, and the ability to understand the material from a different, more relatable perspective.”
