There are a number of tips for students to successfully navigate online courses.  Here is a list of the most important:

  • Prepare and plan for each course ahead of time
  • Treat the online course like a “real” course
  • Hold yourself accountable
  • Practice time/attention management
  • Create a regular study space and eliminate distractions
  • Actively participate
  • Take notes even when you’re online
  • Know yourself and adjust accordingly
  • Access all appropriate recourses including tutoring when available
